Welcome

The Northwest Baltimore County Democratic Club promotes civic engagement and Democratic ideals in the portion of Baltimore County corresponding roughly with the 11th State Legislative District. The map on the right shows the 2nd Councilmanic District in gray and the 11th State Legislative District in purple.

As part of the Federation of Baltimore County Democratic Clubs, the Northwest Baltimore County Democratic Club works with the Central Committee and the Baltimore County Young Democrats to maintain the county's party building structure and elect Democratic candidates at all levels.

Officers

Our elected officers for the 2008 year are:

• President: Stephen Knable
  Stephen is a law student and says that politics is in his blood. Having worked for both Senator Paul Sarbanes, and Congressman Ben Cardin, he is ready to hit the ground running. The most important political issue to Knable is education. He says, "The education of our youth and their advancement and preparedness for life are the real measures of the strength of a society."
